FBI can obtain warrants to review library or bookstore records of individuals
Wiretaps can be authorized more easily for use on suspected

To locate terrorists and overthrow the Taliban. This stems from a necessity born from events that transpired on 9/11/2001. Operation Iraqi Freedom engaged air & ground assault across Saudi border into Iraq.
The Kyoto Protocol represented a global effort to reduce the carbon footprint of the world. The refusal to comply of the United States sets a poor example for developing nations.

This idiom refers to the policy of the U.S Military during the Clinton administration. Homosexuals were to tell no one they were homosexuals, and no one was to ask the sexuality of another person. The abolition of this policy sets the stage for national acceptance of homosexuality

Civil Rights Act of 1990 & 1991
President Bush became the first president to successfully veto a civil rights act when he denied that of 1990. He refused to sign on the basis that quotas might be set up in the job setting when it came time to hire. However, he did end up signing the Civil Rights act of 1991.
